Gerry Bracewell became BC’s first licensed female hunt guide, and then the first female guide outfitter. Taking inspiration from stories of female hunters and life in British Columbia, Gerry followed her dreams of living in the mountains where she cattle ranched, hunted, guided big game hunters, raised her family and supported the Cariboo-Chilcotin community. In time, Gerry became a mentor and inspiration to a whole new generation of female hunt guides from all over the world.
