Phil Branca spent many decades in the Bridge River Valley area of British Columbia after moving there in the 1930s. It is this wilderness area that is the inspiration for his books, writing about the history of the Valley and his part in it. Phil’s experience in hunting, trapping, packing and horse use in the wilderness makes him a true mountain man. He now lives in the Lillooet area of British Columbia.
